What is Self Storage and how is it works?
Self Storage is an easy, flexible storage solution. You only pay the space you need and the length of time you use it. Our clean, dry and secure storage rooms range from 1m² lockers to 200m². Self Storage is ideal for when moving home, or creating more space at your existing property. It is also a perfect storage solution for your business as you can get the right size of storage space for your needs without being tied into a lease or long-term rental agreement.

Will my possessions be safe?
Our building is protected by the latest state-of-the-art 24 hours CCTV and police monitored security systems – for your total peace of mind.

Who has the access to my store?
Every client has a personal pin code access to the building. Only you and the persons you authorise would have access permission. Moreover, you are the only key holder. Alternatively, we can hold the key for you.

Is it possible to view the storage rooms before I rent?
Yes, it is always advisable to view any facility for your own peace of mind, so please call in and take a free no obligation tour.

How much notice do I need to give you?
None, you may call today and store today if you wish. There is no charge to reserve a storage room.

How do I get my items to ExtraSpace?
We offer a free pick up service to collect your goods – please see conditions of use. You may of course use your own transport.

Do you have forklift facilities?
Yes, and we make no charge for this service.

Are there any hidden extras to pay for?
No!

Do you provide Insurance cover?
We expect you to insure your possessions while they are stored at Extra Space. However we only insist on the bare minimum of cover.

How do I work out how much space I need?
Please call us on 971 25 40 30 and we’ll be happy help.

Do you charge when I access my storage unit?
No, you can come and go as often as you please, free of charge.

What are your opening hours?
Our offices are open from 8.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday inclusive; and 9.30am to 1.30pm on Saturdays. Our units are accessible 6am to 10pm everyday of the year. 24hour 7-day access storage units are also available – please ask for details.

What’s the difference between office hours and gate hours?
The office hours are the hours our reception is open and staffed. During these hours a member of staff will be available to assist you with your storage needs. The gate hours are the hours in which you have access to your unit. If you require access outside of our standard gate hours ask at reception for further information about 24-hour access.

What is the minimum or maximum storage period?
You can rent a storage unit for as short or as long period as you require, but you must to tell us you are leaving one week before your contract expires to avoid renewing for a further period. Please ask if you are unsure.

What paperwork is needed?
All we require you to do is sign a simple Storage License Agreement. You do not require legal advice. (All agreements are standard!)

Do you supply boxes and packing materials?
Yes, at ExtraShop you will find a wide range of boxes, wardrobe cartons, bubble wrap, packing paper and locks, etc.

Can you receive items on my behalf?
Yes, we can accept deliveries for you in your absence. See Services.

Can I change the size of my storage room?
Yes, we offer total flexibility. You can go up or down in size whenever you wish subject to availability. There are no penalties for moving to another unit.

Do I have to declare the items I store?
No, but, you cannot store any perishable, inflammable or illegal items.

What payment methods do you accept?
Standing order, direct debit, cash or credit/debit card. Whichever suits you best!

Do I have to pay a deposit?
Yes, you need to pay a one month deposit. We will give you back this deposit when your rental ends.

Do you provide car-parking facilities?
Yes, our facility has extensive free parking for your car, van or truck while you are loading or unloading.
